As the first release in our Faith Series of Ornamental doors, First Fruit is designed to proudly display a homeowner's faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is an original design by Jim Green, webservant of Prayertower Ministries and exclusively licensed to JG PRO for manufacture and distribution.
The door not only is a statement of faith, but of a trust in God's divine protection over the home and those who dwell within its walls. It also proves to be a powerful witnessing tool to neighbors and anyone who passes by and takes notice. Constructed to exacting specifications, the door has meaningful measurements and symbolism. These confirm that Jesus Christ is the Scarlet Thread who weaves all the pages of the Holy Bible into a clear revelation of his undeniable diety and lordship:
A. The united inches of the door equal 114:
1 - Jesus
as the One Way to salvation,
68 - chapters in the synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark & Luke),
21 - chapters in the Gospel of John, also picturing as many character qualities
in Christ,
11 - faithful Apostles,
12 - Jeweled stones comprising the foundation of heaven,
1 - Rider on a white horse who will return as Judge over the living
and dead.
B. The arms of the Cross divide the door height in three equal parts that represent the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
C. The Cross is hammered over forty times to represent Jesus' repeated beating as well as the stripes left on his body after being whipped unmercifully for our sin,
D. Three tulips (resembling hands raised to heaven) stand for Christs' resurrection after as many days,
E. One tulip is taller than the others denoting our Lord has preceeded us to heaven becoming the First Fruit of our coming resurrection.
F. The gold handle reminds those who enter of the hope of glory we have in Jesus.
